A native of the Pacific Northwest, Inger is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and Traditional East Asian Medicine practitioner in the state of Washington. She holds a master’s degree in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine (SIEAM), 2006. She is also a board-certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM), an Acupuncture Detoxification Associate, and a member of Washington Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Association (WAEMA).
Inger’s clinic, which includes an herbal pharmacy, is located in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood. She specializes in fertility and women’s health, calm and emotional balance, immune system imbalances, and pain relief and recovery. In addition to these areas of focus, Inger also treats most other concerns, such as motor vehicle accidents, post-concussive syndrome, seasonal allergies, addiction, PTSD, sleep disorders, diverticulitis, IBS, dizziness, vertigo, and chronic fatigue among many others.
Inger’s treatment approach is to design a customized treatment plan for each patient that includes acupuncture and, depending on the patient’s needs, other modalities of Traditional East Asian Medicine: Tui Na (massage) and cupping therapy, Chinese herbs, food recommendations, and Qi Gong (exercise).
